These five are major themes. Teams are also welcome to present cases from other disaster scenarios.

Earthquakes & Building Collapses

Structural failure, crush injury, constrained access, and coordinated ICU surge response.

TR02

Traffic Accidents & Train Collisions

Multi-vehicle or rail incidents requiring rapid triage, stabilization, and inter-hospital coordination.

MC03

War-related Mass Casualty Incidents

Complex trauma, scarce resources, prolonged response, and multidisciplinary critical care.

FL04

Flood Disasters

Evacuation, disrupted infrastructure, infection risk, and continuity of critical care.

Major Fires & Industrial Accidents

Burns, inhalation injury, toxic exposure, and high-volume emergency-to-ICU transitions.
