AGSS-H/AGSS-L
Anesthetic Gas
Scavenging System
AGSS - H is suitable for exhaust gas pipes with a flow rate of ≥ 75 L/min.
AGSS - L is suitable for exhaust gas pipes with a flow rate of ≤ 50 L/min.
AGSS-L
Generation of waste anesthetic gases
Waste anesthetic gas is the overflow gas that is emitted by the anesthesia machine at the end of expiration, so it is intermittently emitted gas. This includes exhaled gas and driving gas. N2O, sevoflurane, isoflurane and other exhaled gas are all high-risk gases.
Since current anesthesia machines basically use a semi-closed breathing circuit, exhaust gas emission is inevitable.
Hazards of waste anesthetic gases
The “Guidance on the Management of Anesthetic Gas Leaks” of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology shows that the results of studies on the toxicity of inhaled anesthetics indicate that they have:
Advantages of Comen AGSS
  • Comen AGSS effectively reduces circuit ventilation abnormalities caused by negative pressure in the exhaust gas ducts.
  • Comen AGSS effectively removes anesthesia exhaust gases in conjunction with hospital anesthetic gas exhaust pipes.
  • Compatible with jet AGS ducts, negative pressure AGS ducts, or negative pressure ducts for high and low velocity exhaust gas ducts.
  • Corresponding connection solutions for all major brands of anesthesia machines, which are suitable for almost all anesthesia machines
  • The system is ready for use with simple commissioning process, and the exhaust discharge is thorough and stable.
  • Absorbs gas through physical means, no gas/power supply or chemical consumables required
